Do You Yahoo!?
If you're not crazy about the Home Page that your Internet company
provides, did you know that you can choose a different home page. I
use Yahoo! and My Yahoo! every day, and have selected one of
them as my Home Page. You can customize the content (weather,
calendar, search using Google, maps, yellow pages, news, etc.),
layout and colors of your own My Yahoo! page. You can even have
that page come up first whenever you log on. It's all free and works
great. You do need to register for My Yahoo!, but they don't pester
you with ads or e-mails. See instructions below.
To select Yahoo! as your Home Page, click on the link below. Then
at the top of the screen select Tools, then Internet Options, then click
Use Current under Home Page. It's that easy. To make My Yahoo!
your Home Page, click the Yahoo! link, then click the word My to the
right of the Yahoo! logo. Then follow the same instructions above.
